Paul Bunyan Days is a signature event for the City of Fort Bragg with its parades, ugly dog contest — the oldest anywhere — beer tasting, fireman’ ball, and logging contests. It’s a great family event that takes place Aug. 31-Sept. 3. Here are details on the barbecue.The 2nd Annual Paul Bunyan Labor Day – beef, pork, lamb BBQ (including salad, beans and bread) will be held on September 3, 2007 following the Labor Day parade in Fort Bragg. The BBQ will be located on the field next to the College of the Redwoods – the site of the logging show – from 12 noon to 5 pm.

Donation of $12.00 for adults and $6.00 per child 10 years old and under for full dinner.
Dessert by Safe Passage.
