On Sunday, the Tony Award-winning San Francisco Mime Troupe will skewer the electoral process in song and dance in their latest play, ‘Red State.’ Featuring a live band, this colorful musical explores what happens when a small town finds itself at the forefront of a political battle. Can one little town hold an entire election hostage? Should it? Political satire that is anything but silent, ‘Red State’ plays at Fort Bragg’s Cotton Auditorium on Sunday, July 27th, as a benefit for KZYX, the FBHS Drama Club and the Alliance for Democracy.
Doors open at 6pm, live music begins at 6:30, and the play begins at 7 pm. Buy tickets in advance at KZYX.org, Out of This World in Mendocino, and Tangents and Harvest Market in Fort Bragg. More info at tw@mcn.org or 707-937-1113.
