Democracy at Sea 1, by Karen BowersIn support of “Gray Whale month” the Artists Co-op of Mendocino focuses on “Celebrating the Marine Environment” for its March show held through April 5. See watercolor paintings featured on the main show wall by Karen Bowers and additional art displayed on individual members walls. Our new works this month present local and worldwide marine life, seascapes, environmental issues, and responses to other sources of inspiration.
The ACM Gallery, upstairs at 45270 Main St., in the village of Mendocino, is open 10:30 AM – 5:00 PM daily except Tuesdays. Don’t miss the Second Saturday opening reception on March 13, from 3:30 to 6:00 PM. Along with the art, our second floor location offers incredible views and opportunities for whale spotting! Visit the Artists Cooperative of Mendocino Web site for more information.
