July 4: Kelley House Museum Lawn Party & BBQ
Enjoy free music by Kevin and the Coconuts, and feast on hot dogs, sausages, beer, wine and ice cream, while watching the Mendocino parade. 11 am – 3 pm 707-937-5791

July 4: Mendocino Parade
Capture that old-time feeling at the Mendocino 4th of July parade, with fire trucks, floats, horses, and maybe even a trained duck (that’s right!). Noon 707-961-6300.

Pups on Parade! Here’s your chance to be in a genuine small town July 4th parade. Be a part of Little River Inn’s entry this year – join us in the parade as we stroll down Main Street with our favorite canines! Check in starts at 11:20 – please call us at 937-5942 for our rendezvous location.

July 4: Annual Celebration at Friendship Park
The year’s biggest fund-raiser will begin immediately following the Mendocino parade and feature three bands including Steven Bates, Rogerwood and Foxglove. There will be food, entertainment and children’s activities. Contact Ellen Anderson at 707-964-0897 if you are interested in renting a booth, volunteering or wish to donate to the park.

July 4: Point Arena Centennial
Celebrating Point Arena’s centennial (officially July 6) with a weekend filled with fun – parade, street dancing, fireworks, and street fair.

July 5: 7th Annual – MacCallum House Block Party & MUSE Benefit
Enjoy a fantastic afternoon of gourmet food and live and DJ music as we close down Albion Street to celebrate! This community gathering is a much needed benefit for the Mendocino and Anderson Valley school music programs. Sponsored by MacCallum House Restaurant, 707-937-0289, 45020 Albion Street.

July 5: World’s Largest Salmon BBQ
Since 1970 the Salmon Restoration Association has hosted this fund-raiser with the help of local “celebrity” volunteers cooking up a storm. Live music, the aroma of grilled salmon, family and friends…life is good at the barbeque. Fort Bragg in the historic Noyo Harbor. From highway 1 north or south, look for the “BBQ Parking” signs. 11 am – 6 pm

July 5: Fort Bragg Fireworks
The Fort Bragg Independence Day Fireworks Display will be held at dusk. All roads on Todd Point will be closed at 5:00 pm, with limited access and parking restrictions.
