Browsing the artwork at the Thanksgiving Arts and Crafts Fair.In what has become a North Coast tradition, the Mendocino Art Center’s galleries and workshop studios are transformed into a two-day holiday marketplace, providing residents and visitors an alternative to the hustle and bustle of mall shopping while supporting the creative talents of local and regional artists. This year’s fair visitors will browse a wide array of unique artwork, including blown, stained, fused and engraved glass; enameled, gold and mixed metal jewelry; original paintings and photographs; functional and decorative ceramics; sculptural work and wearable fiber art.

Fair exhibitors have been carefully selected from over 100 applicants, with participants representing the Bay Area, Sacramento, Chico, Sonoma County and inland Mendocino County as well as the Mendocino Coast.

The fair will also include a food court serving delicious food items, a selection of Mendocino County beer and wine, including a special recipe mulled wine, and Jennie Zacha’s traditional blackberry sundaes.

The Thanksgiving Arts and Crafts Fair will be held indoors and is free and open to the public. The Mendocino Art Center is located at 45200 Little Lake Street at Kasten Street, in Mendocino village.
