So far, the season has been pretty dismal. There are a trickle of porcinis and matsutaki’s and a few chanterelles. It is still very dry out there despite 7 inches of rain.

I have been to Medocino County once and fall in love with it, I plan to take my husband and my children. It is one of the most beautiful places in Califonia. I love mushrooms and cant wait to try some of the local dishes that have the wild mushrooms.
